Homemade Paneer with corn pizza

simple and delicious recipe for homemade Paneer Pizza (Indian-style with spicy paneer toppings):


🧀 Ingredients

For the base (or use readymade pizza base):

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Warm water (as needed)

For paneer topping:

  • 200g paneer (cubed)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

Pizza toppings:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (or use tomato ketchup + chili sauce mix)
  • 50 g boiled corn
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • 20 g black olive slice
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced capsicum (green bell pepper)
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes

🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough (Skip if using ready base)

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, olive oil, and yeast mixture.
  3. Knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.

Step 2: Marinate the Paneer

  1. Mix paneer with chili powder, garam masala, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and oil.
  2. Marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Optionally sauté in a pan for 3–4 minutes until lightly golden.

Step 3: Assemble the Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F).
  2. Roll out the dough and place on a pizza tray.
  3. Spread pizza sauce.
  4. Add marinated paneer, onion, and capsicum.
  5. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  6. Add oregano and chili flakes.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Bake at 220°C for 12–15 minutes or until cheese melts and crust turns golden brown.

Serving Tip

Serve hot with ketchup, chili flakes, or garlic mayo
